Its really important to get the exact requirements from a client for a website design as the look of the website is very very important for the client normally and its our job to give them exactly what they want and need. The following conversation demonstrates a typical exchange during a website design process after 3 revisions of designs have already been produced and tweaked.
[Website Client] Sorry it’s taken so long for us to reply but we have been busy . We did like the design of the front page but I feel the bubbles on the centre just soften the image and reduce the impact of the page . The look we were really after was pretty similar to the example we sent you of the third example website . It seems that quite a lot of sites are using this technique of using contrasting side bars to project the centre of the page giving it more impact. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
[Website Designer] Obviously we want to give you want you want but reviewing all the time / effort / emails on this design It seemed that this was the design you like and you commented on and we actioned 13 individual points to get to that design. So am pretty confused by a reference to the third example website but will ask direct questions to hopefully work out what is needed here to give you exactly what is wanted.
