Recently we updated a client’s business wordpress website which wasnt hosted or normally maintained by us and to my surprise I found that a Hacker had left a file on my site that redirected all the people who visited the site to one they made money from. As you can imagine, ourselves and the client was angry. How could someone break into a website and take all their traffic and make money from them.
Well, to cut a long story short, We became an Online Detective Agency and found the Hacker. We asked him why he Hacked this site and how could we fix the damage he caused. To my surprise he was very apologetic and instantly told me what I needed to do.
