This marketing technique has proved successful for a couple of clients now, this example conversation demonstrates:
[Website Designers] It will take us 7 days or so to provide you with our first draft design sample. Once that is done you can jot down what you like and don’t. That will give me a basis to finish you site. We have made a start on your site. We are currently doing all the layout and styling. I will need some content shortly. But you can see what I have done so far by visiting the test site.
[Website Owner] Thanks for that. I think it looks great. Really looking forward to getting this done as everything else hinges on it. Still having problems with email. Could we arrange a meet up sometime so we can sit down and sort out the rest of the site. Regarding my content please let me know if you want it proof read as we are going to need it on the site quickly.
[Website Designers] Are you finding your costings are coming down after making the changes to Facebook ads I suggested? You have to be very very targeted with Facebook ads to get cheap clicks.
[Website Owner] Had my first lead from website today, the new lead’s partner saw us on FB and then googled us, great thing is she only lives in 5 minutes away from us I have also advertised on Yellow Pages and Thurrock Gazette and a home improvement website. Are there any other sites i should look at?
[Website Designers] Thats great news. Thats why Facebook is so fantastic. You just never know were a lead will come from. The trick with Facebook is to get the price of each click down to the lowest you can get it. You might want to start adding a few more ads. Experiment with them. A trick that works for me is to add attractive pics in the ads. Try and get free spots on yellowpages and Thompson local. I have had a few clients that are doing well with them.
